Introduction
JP Corry added another high profile project to its’ growing portfolio following its involvement with North Foreshore Film Studios.
A four month long project for North Foreshore Film Studios reached completion, consisting of a brand new film studio located at Giants Park, Belfast. The £20m project includes over 120,000 square feet of studios, workshops and offices. Working with contactors O'Hare & McGovern and project architect John Askie from RRP Architects, JP Corry supplied a full range of washroom solutions at the Belfast based site.
Only the highest grade washroom systems were specified for the project, prompting JP Corry to use its Long Life Perpetual cubicle range in the main office block to suit the specification. This sleek and sophisticated range incorporated 44mm solid doors with rebated HW edges offering a flush frontage and satin anodised aluminium ironmongery. The vanity units and IPS panelling used complemented the cubicle selection, consisting of a laminated post-formed top incorporating a low sink for functionality and style.
For the production area, a robust semi-framed system, incorporating 12mm sold compact panels with polished radius edges and satin anodised aluminium ironmongery was used. Cubicle doors were rebated giving a flush fronted finish from Formicas washroom collection.
By using a diverse range of washroom solutions, JP Corry and the project design team has created a washrooms package offering great aesthetic appeal within the new film studios environment.
