Cherry hardwood comes in a range of colours from reddish-brown to a rich orange-red, and sometimes have a deep mahogany-esque colour.
Straight grained, it has a fine even texture, which machines and finishes extremely well.
Cherry is a highly attractive timber used in furniture, flooring, doors, joinery and cabinetry, mouldings and veneered panels. It is also an excellent timber for use in the construction of musical instruments due to its colour and smooth finish.
