Kilsaran recommend a joint width of between 2mm-5mm as per BS 7533 to cater for jointing sand and product alignment (Butt joining should be avoided)
Also When jointing with Kiln dried sand,  silver granite kiln dried sand must be used for the silver/Pearl and buff/Quartz colour option to reduce potential staining.
