As we witnessed first-hand a couple of years ago at our Springfield branch, defibrillators can be the difference between life and death. Investing in the welfare of our colleagues and visitors to our sites, the business has installed a defibrillator in every branch.

Defibrillators are devices that send an electric pulse or shock to the heart to restore a normal heartbeat. They are used to prevent or correct an arrhythmia, an uneven heartbeat that is too slow or too fast. If the heart suddenly stops, defibrillators can also help it beat again.

Having defibrillators in our branches, which can be used with simple training, gives added confidence to staff and visitors of JP Corry sites as, although we would prefer not to have to use one, we could again in future contribute to saving a life.
