About this role:
The Door Sales Estimator is responsible for developing new and existing relationships with customers and our branch network to increase sales of our growing doors category.  Spanning Northern Ireland and beyond this role will draw on your networks in the field as well as leveraging our 17 branches across the group to further grow and embed the brand and product offering in the market place.
 
Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00 Fri 07.30 - 16.00 We are offering a variety of full and part time contracts so flexible working arrangements will be strongly considered.
Hybrid working options considered dependant on business needs.
 
Duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Engage with new and existing customers and suppliers to expand our product offering
  • Ensure a seamless sales process from ordering through to the scheduling of materials
  • Build strong relationships with our branch network and customer base to achieve our products specification
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge in relation to changing market, regulations, new solutions, new products and suppliers
  • Actively seek and develop innovative new product and service opportunities
  • Support JP Corry’s external and internal sales teams to ensure our customers’ needs are met
  • Produce regular reports on activity and results
  
Suitable applicants will ideally be/have:
  • Proven track record in an estimating role, ideally within construction industry or similar
  • Previous experience of prospecting and generating sales opportunities
  • Knowledge of current certification relating to all fire door specification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of contract procedures, material supply chains and systems, ideally within construction industry or similar
  • Networking and maintaining relationships, comes naturally
  • Adaptable with the ability to learn and apply new ways of working with technical concepts
