ABOUT THIS ROLE:
As Branch Manager you will guide, motivate and safeguard your team, as well as building strong relationships with customers. You will steer decisions to ensure sales and productivity targets are met and the highest standards of service are upheld.

Problem solving, monitoring performance, co-ordinating promotional activity, analysing competitor activity and compiling reports for use in operational forecasting, will all be part of the freedom you will have to coordinate the day to day operations of the branch to ensure a high performing team.
 
DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Assume overall responsibility for ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards and procedures
  • Accountability for ensuring the health and wellbeing of all branch personnel
  •  Provide leadership, motivation and development for the branch team
  • Ensuring that all personnel records are updated in accordance with HR and company procedure
  • ​Provide support to the branch team as required to achieve targets and ensuring our customer-centric culture is maintained.
  • Management of budgets in line with operational forecasts
  • ​Expand branch customer base with new business
  • Give focus to tool hire department to achieve growth in this area
  •  Maintain and explore new opportunities with current accounts through regular contact and communication
  • Responsible for overall branch performance and achievement of targets and the delivery of customer service standards in line with business objectives
  • Liaise with Marketing to co-coordinate promotional activity
  •  Oversee the branch stock management
  •  Safeguarding of the Company’s assets in line with business processes and procedures
  •  Maintaining own knowledge of products, technology and regulations are maintained
  • Ensure distribution is mobilised to deliver on time and in full
  •  Responsible for transport regulation adherence
 
SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY BE/HAVE:

To be successful as Branch Manager you will ideally have an established a background in sales, operations and people management. You will have experience using computerized financial and CRM systems and possess strong knowledge of our Environment, health and safety.

Holding a full, current, and valid driver’s license is essential as well as engaging communication and interpersonal skills.
